Hey trail lovers! 🥾🌞 Ready to welcome spring in full bloom on a gorgeous lakeside loop? This 4-mile hike around Bon Tempe Lake is the perfect mix of open hillsides, shady redwoods, and tranquil waters, with stunning views of Mt. Tam along the way.

🌼 Spring is here! Expect to see wildflowers dotting the landscape—buttercups, shooting stars, milkmaids, and lupines will add pops of color to our route. Along the shady stretches, keep an eye out for chanterelle and coccora mushrooms 🍄, while hawks 🦅 and songbirds 🐦 provide the soundtrack to our walk.

This easygoing loop has about 200 feet of elevation gain, with gentle ups and downs that make for a relaxed, scenic journey. We’ll stroll beneath towering redwoods, cross over charming wooden footbridges, and take in expansive lakeside views where the water reflects the sky like a mirror.
