Shine – Cultivating Radiance with Calendula
About this Groundfloor Gathering
There is a light within that is not dimmed by circumstance. When we learn to live from that place, radiance becomes a daily practice that brings warmth to ourselves, our communities, and the world.
In this Ritual gathering, we will work with Calendula, a plant spirit associated with clarity, warmth, and the sustaining light of the sun. Calendula reminds us that radiance is not about bypassing what is difficult, but about embodying our light in a way that fortifies and inspires us.
Plant spirit work is the practice of engaging plants as sentient beings and guides. Through this practice, we are reminded that our lives are interwoven with the living world, and that strength is rooted in kinship with nature.
This evening will include sharing Calendula tea in ritual, journeying with her spirit through guided meditation and drumming, and time for reflection in community. Together we’ll explore how to cultivate inner radiance in uncertain times, how joy can become a personal and spiritual practice, and how to stay connected with what truly sustains you without bypassing the challenges of life.
