About this Groundfloor Gathering

Come explore and learn about all things Co-Regulation! What is it? Why is it important? How do we know when it is happening? And how do we know how to ask for, offer, and receive it? How do we co-regulate with boundaries? Is co-regulation always bidirectional? Is the goal of co-regulation allostasis, connection, both? How is co-regulation different and/or the same as presence, empathy, attunement, attachment, and resonance? What is the role of the social engagement network in co-regulation? Can we co-regulate ourselves? Is self-regulation just the memory of co-regulation? We will explore co-regulation and many of these questions cognitively, emotionally, and experientially, together.

Interpersonal Club is a space for members to explore, inquire, practice and deepen in understanding around the many types of relationships and connections in our lives. Through the exploration of interpersonal neurobiology, communication skills, relational resonance and coherence, co-regulation, empathy, emotional attunement, attachment, collective consciousness and more, we will grow our connections in real time and deepen our capacities for authentic and embodied relationships with our friends, partners, families, children, collaborators, and communities.

*A note about our club structure: Rather than centering consumption of content or replication of hierarchical group power structures, we will tend to center group process in Interpersonal Club, meaning that we will stay with the trouble of working/playing/exploring through any sticky or murky places that may come up as we learn to be in deeper community together.

DISCLAIMER: Interpersonal Club and its events and offerings are for enrichment only and are not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or mental health support groups.
