It’s 510 Day tomorrow, y’all! “Celebrating 10 years of resistance”—510 Day is a time to uplift Oakland culture and raise awareness of the social justice issues that shape our community. While this gathering is smaller than the festival at the Lake, it’s still a way to tap in with the Town outside of groundfloor —learn about the city’s history, culture, and connect with the Oakland.

DJ Black—1/2 of the legendary duo that taught me how to DJ—will be holding down the dance party and invited me to jump on the set too (I might, depending on how the day flows).
