Technique of the Week: Basic Watercolor Washes
Doodle Theme: Pumpkin Spice Season

We'll cover how to paint flat and gradient washes with watercolor. Then, ink liner pens will be introduced to add doodles, marks and details.

Anyone can do 'em: doodles. Loose, scribbly, sometimes colorful marks that just make you happy. Mixed media art supplies are provided for this group doodle, with an emphasis on basic watercolor and drawing. Each session begins with a brief demo of a fundamental technique and a suggested theme.

🧑‍🎨 Come as you are and no experience necessary.
🎨 Basic supplies including watercolor paper, paint, brushes, rags and water, brushes and water vessels will be provided. You're welcome to bring your favorite supplies to work with, too.
🖼️ We begin with 5 minutes of a painting demo and prompt. From there, it's open doodling!
🍹 BYOBeverage to enjoy and share. Groundfloor has coffee, still and sparkling water.
