Doodle Theme: Abstract Shapes

Watching watercolor flow together can be one of the most satisfying elements of painting. This demonstration will show how to paint lines and shapes that touch to create flowing, abstract doodle pages.

Anyone can do 'em: doodles. Loose, scribbly, sometimes colorful marks that just make you happy. Mixed media art supplies are provided for this group doodle, with an emphasis on basic, loose watercolor and drawing. Each session begins with a brief demo of a fundamental technique and a suggested theme. From there, it's an open session of doodling and good conversation.

🧑‍🎨 Come as you are and no experience necessary.
🎨 Basic supplies including watercolor paper, paint, brushes, rags and water, brushes and water vessels will be provided. You're welcome to bring your favorite supplies to work with, too.
🖼️ We begin with 5 minutes of a painting demo and prompt. From there, it's open doodling!
🍹 BYOBeverage to enjoy and share. Groundfloor has coffee, still and sparkling water.
