Do you feel mentally ready to return to your favorite fitness modalities (whether it be running, cycling, yoga, strength training, pilates, dance parties, or whatever exercise it is that you love), but not sure if you're physically ready after childbirth? Many mamas want to work out again, but face obstacles like injuries, incontinence, or diastasis recti after giving birth that make exercise feel less enjoyable or even scary. We are here to help you! In this workshop, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist Marci Silverberg will lead us through functional exercises to help you rehab your pelvic floor and deep core muscles and teach you functional tools that apply to many movement types, so that you can begin to workout safely and HAVE FUN again doing the things you love. The exercises you will learn (and take home with you to continue) will be game changers in terms of keeping you safe as you return to fitness.
